How should I care for my wig so it lasts a long time?

Treat your wig with care just like your own hair. Wash with sulfate-free shampoo, use a light conditioner, detangle gently from the ends up, and let it air dry on a stand. Store it properly when not in use and avoid heavy products that can cause build-up. Or simply check your unit into our wig clinic.

How often should I wash my wig?

If worn daily, we recommend washing every 2–4 weeks. If worn occasionally, every 4–6 weeks is fine. Always wash when you notice product build-up, oil, or dullness.

Can I dye or bleach my wig?

Yes. Because Ostele wigs are 100% human hair, they can be dyed or bleached. For best results and to protect the quality of the hair, we recommend using a professional colorist.

How do I make my wig look natural?

Choose the right lace , customize the hairline (plucking or baby hairs), bleach knots if needed, and install with either adhesive or a glueless method. When properly applied, our wigs blend seamlessly for a flawless finish. Luckily, our units come customised.

What’s the difference between HD lace and Normal lace?

HD lace is ultra-thin and designed to blend seamlessly with all skin tones for an “invisible” finish. Normal lace is slightly thicker but still very natural-looking, more durable, and easier to maintain for everyday wear.

If I can’t afford HD lace, is Normal lace still good?

Absolutely. Normal lace wigs remain high quality and natural-looking when installed properly. Many of our clients actually prefer them because they are more durable and long-lasting for daily use.

Which should I choose?

If you want the most “melted” look for special occasions or photoshoots, HD lace is a great choice. For something you’ll wear often and want to last longer, normal lace is an excellent investment.
